Tri-Valley residents are invited to come and bail out some jailbirds and help out local foster kids! On Wednesday October 7th, some local “jailbirds” will be looking for help in getting bailed out as a way to raise funds for Agape Villages Foster Family Agency. The annual Jail n’ Bail fundraiser is set for 4:00pm – 7:00pm at SideTrack Bar and Grill on the patio, 30 W. Angela Street, Pleasanton. This is a fun, lighthearted event and all funds raised go towards critical programs that help our local foster kids.
During the event, volunteers wearing prison stripes will be busy calling/texting friends/ business associates, and posting on their social media accounts, hoping to raise “bail” money to get released from custody. Bails will be set by our volunteer judges: Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce chairman Randy Brown (4:00-5:30) and Vice Mayor Kathy Narum (5:30-7:00).
All jailbirds must sign up for a timeslot via Sign-up Genius.
Jailbirds will get free advertising for their business on the Agape website for one year ($500 value)
Note: If you are just stopping by to donate money towards someone’s bail, you do not need to sign up for a timeslot.
**Masks and 6 foot social distancing policy will be enforced***
Drinks and light appetizers will be served
